Greetings in the name of Jesus.
As we enter in to the New Year here at Harvest Bible Chapel we have a vision for all of us to draw closer to the Word of God and closer to each other. Our Small Groups provide an excellent environment to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For this new season each Small Group leader has selected a Bible study appropriate for their group. The studies include: A.W. Tozer “The Pursuit of God”, J. Oswald Sanders “Spiritual Discipleship” and book studies by NavPress - Revelation – Ephesians – Galatians – and others.
New this year On Thursday nights, at the sanctuary, Rod Schuler oversees a “Family Matters” Bible Study. Currently there are 5 groups meeting and child care is available for children up to 5th grade.
We have approx 25 groups meeting in homes around the quad city area. These groups are for young, old, married and single. There is a blessing for those that do not forsake the gathering together (Heb 13) and join others where our Lord is present.

Small Groups are the real heart of ministry here at Harvest Bible Chapel! Here's the place where we dig deep into the Word of God, find fellowship, accountability and support. Small groups welcome everyone who wishes to grow as a disciple of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We all enjoy fellowship together, so it is no surprise to find a small group gathering together for a picnic, barbecue or even a trip to a fun place! It's a great opportunity to enjoy the company of the families of believers enjoying all that the Lord graciously gives to us.
Besides our weekly gatherings, small groups are the engine to go deeper into the area of service here at Harvest. Small groups serve their members as needed with meals, a friendly visit or even a helping hand. Groups often also serve in various ministries of our church body as well as many areas of outreach, evangelism and community service. It's an opportunity to walk and work for Christ in our local area!
